The Journal Introduces Interactive Article Presentations
The Editorial Board of Alfred Nobel University Journal of Philology continues to implement modern tools of scholarly communication and is pleased to announce the introduction of a new format for presenting research findings.
Beginning in 2026, every article published in the journal will be accompanied by an Interactive Article Presentation created on the basis of the author’s published work.
An Interactive Article Presentation enables the key ideas and findings of a study to be presented in a user-friendly digital format through structured navigation, data visualizations, diagrams, tables, illustrations, and other multimedia elements. This approach helps readers become familiar with the main outcomes of a study more quickly and gain a clearer understanding of its research design and scholarly contribution.
The new format has been introduced to enhance the visibility, accessibility, and dissemination of scholarly publications. In today's academic environment, researchers are increasingly required to work with large volumes of information, and Interactive Article Presentations can serve as an effective gateway to the full text of an article and a means of attracting attention to its findings.
For authors, this initiative provides an additional opportunity to present their research to a broader audience, increase engagement with their work, and make their findings more accessible to researchers, educators, students, and all those interested in the relevant field of study. Interactive Article Presentations may also serve as a useful tool for the further dissemination of research findings. Authors may use them during conferences, academic seminars, classroom teaching, and public lectures, as well as share links to the presentations through personal websites, academic profiles, institutional repositories, and professional social networking platforms. This format makes it possible to communicate research findings in a more accessible and visually engaging manner while maintaining a direct connection to the full scholarly article.
Interactive Article Presentations do not constitute separate publications and are created exclusively on the basis of published and peer-reviewed articles. Before publication, authors will have the opportunity to review the presentation and confirm its consistency with the content of their research.
The Editorial Board hopes that the introduction of Interactive Article Presentations will contribute to the wider dissemination of research findings, the development of open scholarly communication, and the increased accessibility of academic knowledge for the international research community.
Detailed principles governing the creation, use, and dissemination of Interactive Article Presentations are outlined in the journal's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Policy (Section 5, “Texts, Illustrations, and Multimedia”) and Publication Ethics Policy (section “Interactive Article Support”).
